Utku Özer is an Instructor in the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management at Bilkent University, where he teaches Food Production Techniques (THM 244) guiding students through a robust understanding of culinary skills, food safety and hygiene, and prepares them for their further study at THM 323 course.

He holds a B.S. degree in Tourism and Hotel Management from Bilkent University and a certificate from ICIF – Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, Professional Culinary Program.

He has vast experience in food & beverage operations, by actively involving in the industry as a head chef, entrepreneur, restaurateur and hospitality professional. He transfers his experiences into the class environment and shares them with his students.
