The Department of Tourism and Hotel Management visited Crowne Plaza Ankara on June 2, 2026. The visit commenced with presentations by Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Collins, Asst. Prof. Semih Sait Yılmaz, and Asst. Prof. Nefike Gündem Sorathia, focusing on their research areas and potential collaboration opportunities with the hotel.
Following this, hotel managers delivered brief presentations regarding their operational fields. Afterwards, the General Manager of Crowne Plaza Ankara and our esteemed alumnus, Mr. Uğur Bür, shared valuable insights about the property and the newly established Ankara Tourism Association.
The visit concluded with a luncheon attended by our Rector, Prof. Kürşat Aydoğan. During the lunch, all participants engaged in productive discussions regarding future cooperation between the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management and Crowne Plaza Ankara.
